Association President Walt D'Alessandris bids farewell at annual members' dinner at Homer's
Sebring Village Association members filled Homer’s Smorgasbord in early December for the group’s annual dinner. In a departure from past such events, the board chose to hold the dinner at the local restaurant instead of cooking the usual hamburgers and sides at the clubhouse.
Outgoing President Walt D’Alessandris pointed out thew actually cost of the dinner was only a little higher and would provide the diners with a wider selection and foods and require no cooking or cleanup.
Attendees agreed that the dinner went very well with most expressing a desire to return in the future.
D’Alessandris, meanwhile, took the occasion to thank everyone for their support for the many years he has served as president. Walt will open the official meeting of the association in January and will turn the gavel over to incoming president Neil Knutson.
